Services are subject to scheduling, permitting requirements, and material availability.
Any estimate we provide is based on information available at the time of the site visit. Estimates are not binding quotes unless confirmed in a written contract signed by both parties. Final pricing may differ from an initial estimate if site conditions, material costs, or project scope change after the estimate is issued. We will notify you of any material price changes before proceeding with affected work. All prices are in U.S. dollars.
Project start dates are estimates and are subject to change based on weather, permit approval timelines, and contractor scheduling. We will provide reasonable notice of any schedule change.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed project, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellations after materials have been ordered may result in restocking fees or other documented costs, which you will be responsible for. Specific cancellation terms are outlined in your signed project contract.
Payment terms for each project are specified in the signed contract. In general, we require a deposit before work begins and a final payment upon completion. Accepted payment methods are stated in the contract.
Invoices that are not paid within the agreed timeframe may be subject to a late payment fee. We reserve the right to suspend work on a project if payment obligations are not met. Unpaid balances may be referred to a collections process at our discretion.
For permitted projects, we will obtain required building permits on your behalf as part of the agreed scope of work. You are responsible for ensuring access to your property for permit inspections and for notifying your homeowners association, if applicable, of planned work. We build to applicable local and state codes, but we are not responsible for delays caused by city review timelines or third-party approvals outside our control.
We stand behind the quality of our work. Any workmanship warranty applicable to your project will be stated in your signed contract. Material warranties are governed by the manufacturer's terms and are passed through to you as the homeowner.
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period. Warranties do not cover damage caused by homeowner modification, misuse, natural disasters, or normal wear and tear. Maplewood Deck & Fence does not warrant work that has been altered or repaired by a third party after project completion.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maplewood Deck & Fence's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services or this website shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or property damage not directly caused by our work. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is brought.
The information on this website is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
